  2. Unable to use any music from the movie, or that created by the Who, due to copyright issues, the promo presented some real challenges. The solution lied in creating a mini synopsis of the story, highlighting the main characters in Tommy's life from his point of view. The issue of music was bypassed by using sound effects. The final bit of music? Stock - "faux" Who. The endplate was a fun bit of stop motion.
