Maurie Hannigan, 1935 - 2016 Before familiar face around Loco workshop in the late 90's. Could turn his hand to fixing most thing.
Absolute gentleman who was always up for a friendly chat and offer advice from his wealth of experience, and an absolute master in the workshop. Will certainly miss his friendly "how do" and cheeky grin from the cab of the NT diesel loco.
We see the light up of Peronne, as dawn breaks for another day at the Family Fun Fair in 2015. See the action in the Cab of the Fireman & Driver work this old narrow gauge steam engine. The smaller 18" passes by on a couple of occasion, as they circle the museum. A great time spent by a lot of families & youngsters learning a bit about early transport in South Australia
Port Augusta Depot we see the sun rise with steam engine out, then onto the platform & away toward Quorn. Up front we see the track passing by & over a bridge. Last afternoon we see it arrive back at Port Augusta & back into the shed for another day.
