1. Welcome to our short film to promote the Scottish Mountain Biking Strategy for 2019-2025.

The strategy sets out an inspiring and ambitious vision for mountain biking in Scotland over the next six years and beyond.

It has been developed in partnership with all the national agencies and cycling organisations involved in mountain biking, through the MTB Consortium, and its delivery will again be overseen by Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland.

  2. The darkness is creeping upon us like a smoke in the air, but still I ride uphill into a soft falling snow. A line of friend's lights lead my path into the greyness. The Cairngorms were calling and I guess this is their answer.

A Film to support the Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland Conference held in Aviemore. Thanks to our partners; Komoot, Endura, Straight Cut Designs, Shand and Sender Ramps.

  3. How many of us got into mountain biking to escape, to ride new places and meet new people? Sometimes it can feel like we’ve lost that childlike enthusiasm to travel and explore, however as the trails and riding take us deeper and further into the wild places, we can recapture that feeling.

Join Eric Porter, Pro MTB Athlete, from the US, as he catches up with Go Where Scotland to discover the secret corners of their endless backyard. The Tweed Valley in Scotland has incredible riding and endless trails but it’s the wider story that makes it truly special

  4. Utilising the profile and interest around the Scottish Mountain Bike Conference we were looking to create a working example of one of the management models proposed in the new National Access Forum guidance on Unauthorise MTB trails.

There were existing trails in the Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) land which has been used frequently for events and is ridden regularly, under the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, by locals and visitors to Laggan Wolftrax MTB Centre in the Cairngorms which was agreed would be an ideal case study into how we can work more effectively together.
