  2. Philip Long is Director of the V&A at Dundee, a groundbreaking project to establish an international centre for design on the banks of the River Tay. From 1998 until taking up his position at the V&A at Dundee, Philip was Senior Curator of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. From 2008 he also led the National Galleries of Scotland’s Artist Rooms project. vandaatdundee.com

    Philip was one of 12 diverse and creative presenters Creative Dundee's first ever Pecha Kucha Night, which took place on 8th November 2011. This event was a great success with over 200 people joining us to hear from these inspiring individuals.   3. Mike Press is Professor of Design Policy at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, where he also runs the design and craft programme. Author of three books, over 100 articles and contributor to TV programmes on design, he holds committed views on creative education and its value to the wider society.

  4. Catrin Jeans is an event-based artist practicing in Dundee. Last summer she constructed a 24hour endurance performance in Generator Projects, designed to encourage viewers to participate as artist’s in a performance through an internationally familiar medium; a game of football. This has been her favourite project to date – though she hopes she hasn’t peaked too early and strives for future success with her current projects ‘Crawl Inclusive‘ and ‘Apocalypse Now Now‘.

  5. Lucy Haighton is a student in her final year studying Contemporary Dance Performance at The Space. She has been training in Contemporary Dance for the last four years and is due to graduate in May. Among many performances, she has performed as part of the Company Symposium Productions at the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals 2011.
