We find the intervals where the function is increasing and decreasing. We use the number line to test and find the intervals where the function is increasing and decreasing.

Gabriel Quinones is working on it solo but ben will be back. you can also visit the website mastermathcourses.com to find the videos well organized and easy to find. you can also find FAQs.

Today we are using the first derivative test to find the local maximum and minimum of a function and using the second derivative test to find the concavity and possible inflection points of the function.

In this example, we also discuss what we do when we end up with a one critical number. This problem would be in your calculus I class. Ben really steps it up with his ti 83 calculator and offers a lot of help. He is practically an equation solver. I know what you are thinking " help me with math" Well this problem is free tutoring so stay tuned and subscribe because I am hoping to have many more movies to watch. The movies will all be math related. Youtube videos will show how to do your problems so I will have many similar problems with as many possible variations as possible. This will be full episodes of worked out calculus problems.

We Have a trigonometric function and we need to find the derivative of cosine and the derivative of sin.

Since trigonometric are oscillating, aka between a range. we limit the range between 0 and 3pi. These ranges were given.
