Using a cloner object to disperse a bunch of spheres on a surface, using a metaball to make them look and act like water droplets, and assigning a spine effector with text to make them gather from full dispersion to the text shape by animating the effector weight. Also, creating materials and setting refraction for realistic background displacement.
