Green Chester is the University's campaign to go green. In partnership with the DoNation, Green Chester launched the Do Chester initiative: http://www.dg4b.com/chester
Do Chester is an initiative, which helps you take actions to make sustainable living normal. Staff and students DoNate actions on their department’s DoPage and commit to complete them over the space of 2 months. This may not sound long, but actions taken up in this time become daily habits, helping your team to save valuable carbon. Plus most of the DoActions will also help save you money, improve the environment and some even have health benefits!
Our Future in Our Hands.

Twelve of us are doing a triathlon in September, this video is about two of us - Anna and Louise.
But our triathlon attempt is different to you average sponsored sporting event.....we're not asking you to give us your change: we're asking our friends and family to support us by creating change through carbon saving actions!

A wee video for the mad Mark Wood from a few of his sponsors, who wanted to wish him luck and tell him about how they're supporting him through his epic North South Solo expedition. In just a few days, Mark will set off on the first solo unsupported and unaided attempt to reach both the Geographic North and South Poles back to back.
I couldn't resist the cheesy soundtrack from one of Mark's own supporters - Bryan Adams. (sadly I didn't have time to get him on camera too!).

Just a week before Mark headed off to the ice for the start of his epic NorthSouthSolo expedition, he asks for you to support him through his trip. But not by giving money, by giving action, or doing green things, instead.
