This video is a speed video tutorial done as a Christmas gift for my blog on http://www.davidrevoy.com and on sintel.org The theme of the illustration is Sintel and Scale , the heros of the movie 'Sintel' were I was the art director. In this video you will see my technics to do a watercolor with only open-source softwares on a Linux system ( I use a tablet, a wacom intuos 4 medium ). As I'm french and don't like my noisy voice on my bad microphone ; I pasted few comments over the timelapse.
I hope you will enjoy it ; And Merry Christmas !
