Join Spencer and Wes Youngblood as they team up together in the skiff to put a hurting on the first big push of migratory tarpon to return to the Florida Keys after a long cool winter. In early March 2011 hoards of big tarpon moved into the Florida Keys. Many of these fish acted as if they had never seen a fly before and created a great opportunity for us to get some incredible bites on film.
Some of the footage we used to create our feature tarpon film "Soar" but much of it was only showcased in this film. Enjoy a few early spring days in the Keys jumping some big poons.

This was one of the older films we made, and one of our first feature Tarpon films. Filmed long before the days our computers could handle non linear editing in HD. So we decided to remix it a little and resurrect this film to take a look back at some of the good times we had fishing with our friends and clients. Most importantly Dave "Gear Man" Behr. Who tragically we lost a couple years ago.
Sit back and enjoy the ride through the beautiful Florida Keys as we chase one of our favorite game fish "Tarpon"
It's an oldie, but a Suplee Outdoor Films classic.

A short film showcasing a permit angler and his quest to try to catch another permit on fly while wading and trying to film the whole event solo.
A beautiful April evening in the Florida Keys provides Capt. Kris Suplee with several good opportunities to hook up with the ever elusive permit. Hop aboard the skiff to see if it can be done.
