All around the world, technological advancements like the Internet, cellphones, global transportation and other forms of mass communication have made it easier for people to communicate with one another. They’ve also made it easier to share the Bible. But unfortunately, there are still people around the world who have not yet been reached — people in places like Uganda, Bangladesh, India, Panama and many other places, still waiting to hear and read God’s Word in the language that speaks directly to their hearts. They do not want to wait to hear from God and are eager to hear him speak into their lives today. The need is great, but our God is greater.
Wycliffe’s mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025.
