Omega, one of the most popular contributed themes has had a facelift, and it’s almost unrecognisable!
Omega 4 has done away with the UI and instead, focuses on providing a framework aimed at themers who want full control over the theme through code.
This presentation by Matt Smith, co-maintainer of Omega, demonstrate these new features along with real life examples of how you can use them to build highly customised themes. He also takes a look at the future of Omega 4 and the roadmap to a full release.
