Doesn't look that big, but measured at 60.5 ft from lip of take off to the start of landing and 25ft up off the snow in the gap. It's big enough for now. Knuckle is a concern if one were to short it, so we don't do that. Once we all get used to that kicker maybe we'll pull it back upslope another 10ft or so and really throw down.
First day of the new jump. Thanks to Don, Matt and Tyrol Basin. This one is going to be fun. I'll try to improve on the action in the air, but with this perfect landing and decent hang time, my 360s and 540s will be the tamest things we'll see in the weeks to come. Let the games begin.
Because, after a grinding two-day work week, Wednesday marks the beginning of the weekly five-day vacation. And that means Telerijden. This Telerijden Wednesday was a bike-ski-bike out to Tyrol Basin in search of snow. 70 mile round trip on the bikes and good times all around.
