1. This is one of our isolation drills that helps the practitioner develop and trust their tactile sense at extreme close quarters.

    This is very important for sudden confrontations where the startle-flinch intercepts, or after a quick sucker punch where your eyes are still watering (from a punch, finger, etc) and even in low light situations.

    Developing responsive movement to sudden changes in your opponent's energy is critical during any clinch, be it street, law enforcement or sport fighting. And working with your eyes closed is a great way to develop this skill.
