This is my animation Thesis Film done during my time at the Academy of Art University 2010. :)
Bridge is a story about four animal characters trying to cross a bridge, but ending up as obstacles to one another in the process. The moral behind this story revolves around how there are often disagreements or competing paths in life, and the possible results of pride, obstinance, and compromise.
Music by Greg Gauba.
Note: I noticed some websites have been featuring my work around, I am grateful for it. I also appreciate all feedbacks, critiques and comments! But some websites have mistaken that I worked for Pixar, which is a misunderstanding and it is not true. I just wish to correct that. : )
Directed by Carl E. Rinsch, ‘The Gift’ Belongs to the "pararell Lines" Phillips Cinema campaning. Placed in Russia, The Gift is a Sci-Fi short with a savage Chase sequence on it. We made more than 20 full CGI shots for the short. Check out the animated pictures to see how it has been done. We also made the vechicles and some characters desings. We enjoyed creating such an unusual atmosphere and sense. Not the regular Sci-fi film we are used to see...
Original post (with subtitled video in english and spanish): http://www.blendtuts.com/2010/12/how-to-use-masks-in-blender.html
Recently, a new addon ("Rotobezier", developed by Daniel Salazar, alias Zanqdo) was added to Blender, and I needed to make a tutorial about it, because it's an addon that makes a lot easier to animate bezier curves :D
Bezier curves have a lot of applications if animated, but one of them is the ability of using them as masks on the blender compositor. This tutorial talks about how to use and animate curves using this addon, and how to use them as masks in compositing :)
I put this tutorial the Expert label because you'll need to have the Blender Basics covered in order to make all the steps and understanding them :)
Hope you like it, and the next one will be the Materials, Lights & Render Part 2!
A vacationing ninja finds true love, but it's much more than he expected.
