This was filmed over the last two rounds of the UK Time Attack series of 2011 at the Anglesey and Snetterton circuits when I was invited down to just experience the show and how everything worked. This was literally just me wandering around with a 5d and 7d and seeing what I could capture as these venues are huge and when the show is going on there is so much happening. I tried to focus on just what was going on on the circuits themselves and not so much on everything else that was happening and just try and put across what I experienced which was two of the best weekends of 2011 for me.

Run The Wall
Definition: Maneuvering a vehicle sideways into a drift and positioning the rear end of that vehicle as close to a circuits outer walls while maintaining your speed and line.
Ebisu Circuit located in Fukushima, Japan has become world famous for its high risk "rubbing is racing" style of drifting that the course invokes. Drivers will push their cars to and beyond the limit to find the perfect line while they "Run The Wall".
In this film watch as drivers from around the globe demonstrate the fearless "Run The Wall" mindset as they drift their cars only inches away from walls, some will even try to put them through the walls.
Let the carnage begin!
♥ Sorry about the shots where theres dirt on the lens but I stand close to the cars and myself and my lenses cant avoid getting hit by dirt, stones, rubber and anything else flying my way.
♥ Props go out to Chris DeJager in the black R32 Skyline for massaging the panels of his Skyline on Ebisu's walls, just for my camera and you viewers.
♥ Thanks to Alex for putting his blue Laurel about 10cm away from my head and nearly killing me haha!
AwesomeFest... Whoa, yeah. I don't know where to begin!
We Scandinavians are spoilt creatures, we have multiple Gatebil events during the year, and Gatebil has been the event to be at for many years now. On this side of the planet. Not anymore, now AwesomeFest is in the mix and a true contender. Sure, this was the first babystep the Driftworks crew have made at arranging this sort of big-scale event. I can safely say they did a fantastic job! I am definitely counting this as one of the must-go-to events for 2012!
So here's the video of my first ever weekend at Mallory Park, for the first ever AwesomeFest. Although you've probably already watched it before you read this. Hope you liked it!
Thanks a lot to Floyd Parsons for additional footage and Al Clark for being an amazing chase-car driver!
