On the 25th of August 1944, Paris was liberated. On the same day, 250 km south, in a small rural village, 124 people, including 49 children, were slaughtered by the Germans. Jean-Louis Chedozeau was five-years-old at that time. He remembers how he was looking for his toy, a little horse, understanding nothing to what was happening. Now retired, he makes all possible to tell this story, hoping such things will no more happen. When visiting Germany, he was offered a small medal with a horse on it.
