Watch and listen to the iFootage motion control Shark Slider on display at NAB 2014. It uses belt drives and is very quiet. It has a remote control, does both continuous moves and stepped moves for time lapse, and has carbon fiber rails that screw together. They plan on selling it in the summer of 2014 for $2,000. It loops from end to end continuously without apparent jerkiness and could be a great unattended slider for doing interviews as it is easy to set the angle at each end of the slide. FINALLY a slider that is different. The market has become saturated with sliders that are almost identical with minor differences being the only differing factor in their design. But I am happy to say there is a new slider available with some killer features and a modiste price tag. Say hello to the iFootage S1 Shark Slider.
