On Christmas Eve 2013, the worship team of Calvary South Denver put together a special collection of Christmas carols and songs including classics like "Joy to the World and O Come Let Us Adore Him" as well as some new contemporary Christmas themed songs. After a few songs, Pastor Gino Geraci gave a special Christmas Eve message from Luke chapter 2 called "A Shepherds Christmas." Finally we concluded the night by turning down the lights and singing "Silent Night."
It’s Resurrection Sunday and that means we will be looking at Luke 24:13-35, a wonderful passage which describes one of four post-resurrection appearances by Jesus. This particular appearance is often referred to as the Road to Emmaus, where Jesus appears to the disciples, and yet they don’t immediately recognize him. Join us for “Jesus In Disguise.”
Jesus: The Savior In Disguise (vv.13-16)
Jesus: The Hope In Shattered Dreams (vv.17-24)
Jesus: The Promise In All The Scripture (vv.27-35)
The worship team at Calvary South Denver really stepped it up this year to deliver a very special Christmas Eve service.
