  2. Deaf Jam, a feature length documentary, is a coming of age story for deaf teen, Aneta Brodski, as she explores ASL (American Sign Language) poetry. As her poetry evolves she boldly decides to compete in a spoken word poetry slam among her hearing peers. Eventually, she meets Tahani, a hearing Palestinian slam poet and the two collaborate on a hear/deaf duet. Aneta is an Israeli immigrant and her collaboration with Tahani becomes a metaphor for the political world around them.

Deaf Jam has been funded by the National Endowment for Arts (NEA), the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), the Rockefeller Foundation and the Independent Television Service (ITVS).
