1. Newly formed but deeply rooted, Wind & Willow are a strong and captivating sound. They are an eclectic, invoking and heart telling duo. Mark hails from Raleigh, NC and Sarah was raised in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. They have both come together to create a musical experience through the use of different sounds, styles and influences from there various upbringings. Together they blend unique vocals with everything from guitars, to banjos, to harps and autoharps, to pianos and even to hammer dulcimer and sitar. They have now made a home in Raleigh and are in the beginnings of a songwritting journey. Their upbeat, folk and sometimes hushed sound left us wanting more. Passers-by lingered - intrigued and inquisitive as the sound announced the duo's presence.
