As part of the major redevelopment of the Queensland Museum Southbank which is due to re-open in January 2012. Carbon Media produced the welcome to country video which will be a permanent feature in the foyer to the Queensland Museum. We worked with Yuggerra traditional owner groups to develop a culturally appropriate yet innovative we to tell the story of the creation of the Brisbane River past, present and future as told from an Indigenous perspective in their language The video in its final format will be displayed across an array of 5x 55inch plasma televisions.

  5. Carbon Media collaborated with the Department of Health and Ageing and BCM Advertising to design a campaign to recruit more Indigenous people into Health jobs. The national project involved creating a website which allows Indigenous people to search for health jobs, find out about different training opportunities and also views a library of interviews with Indigenous people who are currently working in the health industry. Carbon’s team provided the talent, produced the interviews and travelled across various regions of Australia to film these.
