Philip K. Goropoulos, president and CEO of Alder Health Services, recently won the nonprofit leadership excellence award at the region’s Nonprofit Innovation Awards. The leader of the organization since 1999, his guidance has helped to expand its mission and services to include both supporting the region’s HIV/AIDS population and providing mental health, primary and sexually transmitted disease care for those who have traditionally been marginalized.
Incorporated in 1999, Keystone Mobility continues to expand its product lines in the area of mobility services. The company moved into its 9,000-square-foot space in Swatara Township, Dauphin County, in August.
Dillsburg-based Suasion Marketing and Communications was founded in 2008 by Victoria Lindstrom. She leads a team of seven professionals who specialize in services to nonprofit organizations as well as health care and disability-related clients. Pennsylvania is still wrestling with the question of whether to expand Medicaid eligibility. Lots of numbers have been thrown into the public conversation, but understanding them requires that you first understand the mechanics of how expansion would work and how it would interact with subsidies on the health insurance marketplaces.
