Dream Music, Part 1 is a creative video we both made on the fly. There was no real purpose to the video but to experiment with different camera techniques, have a good time, and blow the minds of the viewers. What a little brainstorming can do;) Please contact us if you would like to be in any of our future videos. We plan on making a bunch of these.

Dedicated to James Cole - R.I.P. buddy (face on red shirt)

  2. Shot 100% on the HD HERO® camera from GoPro®.GoPro.com

Matthias Giraud and Stefan Laude capture some of the most incredible content seen by GoPro as they hit the Alps like true heroes skiing the French backcountry while escaping a large avalanche on their tails!

This whole project has been an amazing experience. The two of us became friends through Vimeo and explored a shared interest in timelapsing Yosemite National Park over an extended period of time. We'd like to expand this idea to other locations and would appreciate any suggestions for a future project.

Project Yosemite was featured as a main story on Yosemite National Park's Spring Newsletter.: yosemitepark.com/timelapse-sprnews-2012.aspx

  4. Finally I finished the 3rd part of my "Natural Wonders" miniMovies.

This time its about the Grand Canyon, one of the most impressing canyons, I´ve ever seen.

I had to spend a huge amount of time for grading each shot extensively as I shot (by accident) with lots of different settings from superflat to highly saturated.
So lots of shots got their particular grading as well as a lot of masks which I had to use, to separate the skys from the ground.

This footage showed me again, how bitchy 7D footage can be, if you don´t know exactly what you do.

I did a lot of shots out of a helicopter, but as it is - when you´re beginner - you do a lot of things, you shouldn´t do and of course...I did :D

I tried my best to stabilize some of them, the rest...puhh...I had to put into trash.
(Next time I´ll remember that a helicopter has windows;)

Anyway...I hope you like this tiny movie too and if so, feel free to put a "like" on it :)

Update 2014: "Natural Wonders - Grand Canyon" got a new audiotrack, which has been composed
by my old friend and colleague Carles Piles (vimeo.com/user10488827) and (http://www.carlespiles.com/)
I´ve also uploaded a new version with much higher datarate

"Thank you Carles, you´ve done a great job to increase the value of my work".

  5. Canon have done what they should of done before the 5D Mark 2 came out, that is give us full control over, aperture, and ISO settings. The camera with the new firmware is now the real deal giving us the power to style our shots how we want them. It was the second most exciting thing that came out from Canon, the first being the camera itself.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T DOWNLOADED IT YET DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!

This is some footage before and after the firmware update. You cant tell the difference because I was tricking the camera before the update by using the "Old Twist The Lens On The Camera Trick" I don't have to worry about dropping the lens off the front anymore.

THANK YOU CANON..... NOW GIVE US REAL VIDEO CAMERA WITH THE 5D TECHNOLOGY......

    Luv Fletch
