This demo's a working generative piece as it reacts to the mouse location and actions. The interactive installation will be available soon online for your own pleasure, along with a number of other play-things made possible by the power of Processing + OSC + HTML5.
I've extended this experimental interactive piece to include reaction to both audio and motion-tracking data as well as tying it into an iPad multi-touch interface. This allows me to project it live, co-opting a musical performance(to be determined) that will drive the amplitude of the fountain while audience movement stimulates the timing/speed and I manipulate the form by touch.
Further documentation will be posted as it develops.
Interested in collaborating? I'm putting together a V.J. set and looking for a musical act to work alongside, so if you're a performing emcee or musician and want to add an interactive + visual dimension to your show, hit me up—
