It's a bit rough but it's one of the first segments I created for air that I really liked. This back from maybe 2001? This is a drag race competition we shot in puerto rico. I cut it to two Clutch songs. The first song is "SpaceGrass", and the second song is "Impetus" This aired on SpeedLogic for Mun2/telemundo network. This was shot on a Canon XL and GL.
Editing and Videography by Mike Tweedy. Directing credits shared with Louis Molden and Mike Tweedy. Shot with the Sony XDcam EX and edited on Final Cut Pro 7. This one seems to be the crowd favorite, and its doing pretty good on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSw8bFQcKcA. While there were some shots using green screen the majority of this was simply shot in a large black room and with some color correction... We shot this, not really having a plan for how we were going to put it together. We just got a bunch of cool shots and in editing we'd create something. And thats what we did. The girl in the dance battle scenes is the girl with the blonde wig in "Press Play" and she is one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever laid eyes on. A phenomenal dancer...heavenly.
Edited by Mike Tweedy. Directing and Videography credits are shared with Mike Tweedy and Louis Molden. Shot on a Sony XDcam Ex and a Panasonic AG-HPX250 with a Redrock M2 lens adapter. Edited on Final Cut Pro 7. This is two music videos linked together with a nifty little transition. Of the music videos, this one is my personal favorite although I know I'm alone in this. But because i wrote the "script" and the hell that it was to put it all together...well I guess Im just surprised It's complete.
About 7-8 years ago I drove up to Athens, Georgia to see Tomahawk and the Melvins. The show was incredible. The bootleg of course was not. I traded my bootleg for some others online. This video is comprised of that footage.
