My final project for AD334 3D modeling and animation. It was created from concept to finish in about a month. This is my first time animating and rigging a character. Modeling was done in Blender. Rigging and animation was in Cinema 4D. Rendered on a Cinema 4D Net Render farm. Post and sound done in After Effects.
The film you see here is a revised version of the original project. I changed the ending so he gets angry, tries to jump into the box and kicks the box before walking away, dejected. These additions help convince the audience of the character's desire for the ball and to justify him giving up at the end. I made these changes in preparation for Individual Art Review--a process that usually happens during junior year for NMU art students and involves presenting and defending your work in front of a panel of art professors.
