In his second edit with Jiberish, Yoshi Tanenbaum and Stept Studios pass through Boston, home of the Jiberish Armory store, to film a different take on the traditional skate edit. Since the last Jiberish edit Yoshi has won Damn AM, moved up the ranks with Stereo to AM and won the Woodward West Shootout. We look forward to the coming year and watching Yoshi Tanenbaum continue to make his mark on the skate community.
The first recorded journey along El Camino Sierra was by Jedediah Smith in 1826. The trail was in common use by prospectors passing through the area because of the California Gold Rush. It connects Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe & Reno. Today it is better known as the Sierra Highway or Route 395. We thought it would make for a great trip so we set out with the Quintin Co skate team to check it out. From Los Angeles to Mammoth Lakes, Lake Tahoe, Reno & Sacramento follow along on our journey in this 3 part series. Featuring some of the Quintin skate crew including Brett Sube, Danny Hamaguchi, Jordan Maxham and special guest Chris Colbourn.
The next day the crew woke up to a beautiful day in South Lake Tahoe. Checked out the lake and then headed to South Lake Tahoe skatepark. When they got there they were met by one of the locals who runs Skatehouse skateshop. He had a leaf blower and was cleaning the park for us. Jordan & Chris were hyped and started to kill it! Afterwards they got back on the road headed towards Reno. They were going to make a quick pit stop in Carson City but once Danny & Chris got to skating the park it was a wrap. Click play to watch these guys shred!!
Stay tuned to quintinco.com as we continue up El Camino Sierra and wrap up the trip in Reno & Sacramento!
