Another one of my projects for Film/Video Production 339 - the assignment was to use a previous film project in the class and create a soundtrack to it using exactly 12 sounds from one environment. We chose a common room in a dorm.
This was the first film project for my production class. We had to show the 'perfect human' in one continuous tracking shot with auto focus turned off, and we could not edit at all. We were inspired by Darwin's evolution of man picture, so we took each progression of the human and gave them a trait that society deems perfect: strong, pretty, smart, and successful. Ideally all of those would be combined in the last person, but are they?
This is a meta video, detailing the process of filming and producing one of our projects. We have some clips of filming using a green screen, editing in final cut pro, using color correction, keyframing etc.
One of my films for Film/Video Production 339. We had to use 4 actions that the 'perfect human' would do, and create a film that composites the same person doing those four actions (dancing, clapping, breathing, and reaching).
This is a documentary I made about a blind shop-owner in downtown Lewisburg. I did an initial interview and then filmed in and around his music store to compile images and sounds for the final cut. I used color correction and filters to alter the images to reflect his inability to see.
