This project was produced by my students in my Special Events Class using cinematic and journalistic techniques to showcase a new facility. It is a typical journalistic project one would do for business and non-profit organizations. The team did an exceptional job lead by Tyler Hoff.
How do you tell a story without using words? That was challenge for a Special Events class. The video team did an excellent job of reinventing the intro to one of the Top 10 cultural events in our region.
This was a documentary we produced with Walden Media as part of a larger educational resource DVD. It coincided with the release of the film, "Amazing Grace," the dramatic story of William Wilberforce's crusade to abolish slavery in Great Britain. We are listed in the credits of the film and quite a bit of the interview footage for the extra features on the final commercial DVD was from my students' work.

This is a short "educational marketing" piece I produced with Dr. Devin Brown, Dr. Mike Peterson, the Lily Grant and students from Asbury University's Media Com Department. It was a program media highlight of our very first Narnia Night. It is the backstory as to how C. S. Lewis wrote "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe."
Short documentary on the fascinating story of how John Newton wrote the most famous hymn in the world...and helped bring about one of the most powerful social justice movements in the history of Western Civilization. Documentary was researched and written by Dr. Devin Brown. It was produced with Asbury University Media Com students and an Asbury Art Dept student under the direction of Prof. Greg Bandy. The original score was composed by Matthew Oxley.
