"In this very scary NSCAD short, a young man defies his partner’s warnings to take his meds and experiences some shocking moments, achieved onscreen through the kind of art direction usually only available in high-priced studio productions. Economically told and expertly realized, When You’re Gone reveals some serious cinematic talent on the cusp of greatness."
