This is my newest project from my home country Switzerland about the most famous Swiss mountain the Matterhorn. I was 3 times in Zermatt between August and October 2012 to make this film. I stayed some nights outside under a starry sky and a lot of falling stars. During October on 2’700m/8'858f over sea it gets really cold. But it was worth to do it.

In this video, you will see scenes from the beautiful and varied nature in Southern Norway. Famous mountains like Dalsnibba in Geiranger, Trollveggen (Troll wall), Besseggen and Gaustatoppen are portrayed in this video. You will also see scenes from the tallest frefalling unregulated waterfall in Norway -Vettisfossen (275m/902ft), Nigardsbreen glacier, Nordmarka, a sailboat regatta (Færderseilasen) and northern lights display in the night sky.
The Lunar Eclipse (02:11) which was visible in Southern Norway june 15th 2011 is also in this video. To witness the moon re-emerge from the earth´s shadow was magical. The moon phases (from new to full moon) which I captured in less than 1 hour would have taken 14 1/2 days under normal conditions.
Gear used: LRTimelapse, Dynamic Perception dolly and Enhanced Rotary Table
