This is my individual project as a final year student for a game design course at the University of Bradford, UK. It is a 3D environments inspired by the novels in the book "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino.
I've modelled and textured a modular set of 3D meshes in Maya and exported to UDK where I've composed this city, suspended over a void to resemble a spider web. All the content is made by miself except for the rocks in the background, the vegetation meshes, the water shader and the skybox which are from UDK library.

This is a videogame produced from the ground up by me and my very talented colleagues at University of Bradford, as our final year team project. I had the role of designer and lead artist, and both us and our client were very pleased with the result. Our efforts has been awarded with the 2nd prize for game design at the Game Republic Student Showcase
This is an earlier work before I moved on more art-driven projects, but it's an interesting exercise in "pure" level design with UnrealEd. There are some mistakes, but I believe some interesting and clever ideas as well. The themes of my style are all present, within the limitations of the engine: emphasis on the height axis, open spaces, gameplay flow, and boy do I love stairs.
