  2. "Shores of Time" a 50 minute documentary by Prof. Thomas Porett has now been adopted by the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park as a regular part of their interpretive program. It will also be used by Parks Canada, as part of its orientation program to the National Marine Conservation Area in Lake Superior.

The film is a detailed explanation of the geology of the Silver Islet region which situated along the northern shoreline of Lake Superior. This region is historically significant as it was the site of what was the worlds richest silver deposit and played an important role in the economic development of Northwestern Ontario.

Two brothers, Scott Cheadle, a geophysicist and his brother Burns, a geologist, explain the physical forces that shaped this region and put it into the wider context of Earth history. They visit fifteen locations along the shoreline that reveal evidence of unique geologic events and attributes that have been preserved, unaltered, for millions of years.

  3. The piece titled “Circa ‘66” a 21’30” progression of half frame black and white of street portraits photographed in 1966-67. These images are quite indicative of the period styles and are accompanied with a sound track that acts as a counterpoint to the straightforward street photographs. The track is derived from a multi-image projection piece “Made in USA” that consisted of six slide projectors, three film projectors and four channel sound. The work was completed in 1968 and was displayed in several venues nationally.
