  3. "Kung Fool's Fall" was made for the Cleveland School of the Arts 2010 Film, Photography, and Play Festival, during a 3 week artist in residence program. My students wanted to make a comedic love story with Kung Fu battles. In 8 hours of planning and story boarding, 3 hours of lighting and set decoration, 8 hours of shooting, and 18 hours of editing we found our story.

  4. This film was made for the Cleveland School of the Arts 2010 Film, Photography, and Play Festival, during a 3 week artist in residence program. In 2009-2010, the CSA Panthers basketball team made it into the playoffs for the first time in many years, and my six male student film makers were eager to tell the world. My challenge was to help them find a story that would be interesting to all audiences--not just basketball players.

  5. "The Hidden" was made for the Cleveland School of the Arts 2011 Film, Photography, and Play Festival, during a 3 week artist in residence program. My 9 students spent a lot of time discussing character and story and decided the best approach would be to combine improvisational and scripted dialogue to give their film the right treatment.
