I am a destination visual artist who specializes in photography, timelapse cinematography, & filmmaking. I love to travel, so if you have a project in some far flung location, lets talk.
Yosemite National Park, the High Sierra, and the Eastern Sierra are some of the most beautiful places on earth. Ever since I serendipitously won a trip to Yosemite when I was 18, the beautiful Range of Light has captured my heart and become my home. Nothing brings me more joy than to share this life changing beauty with others.
Ever since I became fascinated with timelapse photography almost 2 years ago, after seeing the work of Tom Lowe, I’ve wanted to do a piece on Yosemite and the Sierra. Now after almost 2 years of shooting, I'm thrilled to share. I hope you enjoy my vision of my home, the majestic Yosemite & Sierra. Best viewed Full Screen with Sound :)
If you would like to license any of my clips or hire me to shoot for you, please be in touch. I do have 4k footage available for licensing.
Also a huge thanks to all of you who help support me with your warm comments and continuing encouragement. It means more to me than you know.
I hope this inspires everyone to get outside and explore the beautiful outdoors, especially magical places like Yosemite National Park and the High Sierra. It's National Parks week and all of our national parks are free this week, so get outside and explore!

Flying High is a compilation of a lot of my favorite shots from this past year, and my first fully timelapse reel. I've become completely fascinated with timelapse photography this past year, and I've been able to get out quite a bit.
There's such an excitement in going out and really thinking about how you want to set up your shot, and putting so much time and creativity into the setup; & then not really knowing if you got it until you go home the next morning. It almost kinda reminds me of shooting film, when I couldn't wait to get those slides back.
I wrote and recorded "Flying High" the song recently, and had been excited from the beginning to put some imagery to it. I really love how the timelapse works with the music.
I have to give a huge thanks to Tom Lowe for his incredible inspiration, and his unparalleled generosity. I hadn't ever really dabbled in timelapse before meeting Tom, and his work was so inspiring, and he was so generous with his knowledge, that I become totally obsessed :)
I also want to give a huge thanks to Eric Kessler for really believing in me and helping me take my timelapse to the next level. His support has really allowed me to expand my own artistic vision, and he's one of the nicest most genuine guys I've ever met.
"Reflection" is a movie from " Mood Collection" , a photographic research. Born with the wish to film New York differently. It's a quest of pictures and portraits, the night desapearing for a new day... a new begining...
Directed by Paul Mignot

As each of us has his own impression of Afghanistan that is predominantly marked with pictures of foreign forces, explosions and terror, we were privileged to have access to capture daily life and portrait some people of Afghanistan.
We hope the pictures you know will merge with the pictures you see and will enrich your view on the country in the Hindu Kush.
Kabul and Mazar-e Sharif
We wanted to go to other places as well but there were several incidents and security was too bad. Just one day after shooting at the blue mosque in Mazar-e Sharif a mob started from the very same place storming the UN building.
I have lived from 2006-2008 in Kabul doing my civil service for a humanitarian aid organization. This March I had the chance to go back with my fiancée to show her the place I love and to capture the beauty of this country with our cameras.
At the same time I made this as a tribute to a dear friend, who was shot in the streets of Kabul. Gayle inspired me in her love and dedication for the Afghans.
After a full summer with other work we had now the chance to do the editing.
Lisa-Maria Puy who composed the music for us was wonderful to work with. We met her on Zanzibar island and back in Germany she composed this wonderful soundtrack within just 3 days (and nights). She studied music at HfM Detmold in Germany and is a very talented artist and we hope to work with her again.
You can contact her on: puy-music[at]gmx.de
Last week the clip got published in the iPad edition of Süddeutsche-Zeitung Magazin.
I hope you enjoy and we are happy for your honest feedback.
