  2. Back in the 1980's there were a lot of "slasher" horror films. This was my attempt to make one.

This was filmed in 1986 during my first year at Concordia University's Film Production program.

I recently remixed the audio and had it screened at a halloween screening at a local club.

It definitely has a 1980's look.

Shot all on Super 8 with one of the currently non existent ektachrome stocks.

  3. Tunnel of Love tells its story through the use if images and symbols, not dialogue. I enjoy these types of films because they end up being much more dreamy.

Tunnel of Love is about a romance and how the emotional states and conflicts of the characters are
exposed through the eyes of a 35mm film camera that seems to be able to capture what the lovers cannot express.

Shot using Tri X Super 8 film.

  5. Abstract, surreal and vague this story, set during a future war, is about a man whose connection to a mysterious women is complicated by a nameless enemy and childhood memories from the past.

This is a minimalist film that tries to blend experimental film techniques into narrative story. Loose and poetic, the film tries to set a mood using repetitive editing and stark image manipulation.

Definitely not for everyone but if you like it dark and different, then you might enjoy this film.

All the source material was shot on super 8 film.

Three friends meet in a central cheerful pastime. After strolling along the boulevards, they are in nature. The dark side of the forest reveals the subconscious of each. And none of them are unaware of the existence of the world of the forces that awaken in man hidden until the time of the dark side of their personalities. The metaphor of the film is laid bare hidden from direct view the laws of nature to be reckoned with, are unaware of their presence, man.
