The idea behind this project was to increase awareness of Tate as a broadcaster of arts programmes. All filmed in- camera, we achieved this by digitally creating a number animated logos then filming the result on a large LED screen. All the animations were filmed in the Turbine hall at Tate Modern with a 7D and 5D. By using numerous lenses, this gave us an abstract and unpredictable result which seemed to fit with the nature of their content.
V&A Channel visited Heatherwick Studio, and spent some time with the founder, Thomas Heatherwick, and Stuart Wood, head of innovation, to discuss projects past and present, and how Heatherwick Studio developed their extraordinary approach to design.
