Hillary Wilgress is a local resident living on a Hackney estate right next to the Olympic construction site in Stratford, East London.
This is her view of how the games are affecting her community.
We got access to the Olympic stadium on the day marking two years before the start of the games, tonnes of media there.
Interview filmed on a Sony EX-1, inserts were done on a mix of the JVC-HM100 on a Steadicam Merlin and Canon EOS 7D with 50mm f1.4 prime.
Edited on FCP, Sound mix in Pro Tools, grading in Color (back in my good books - for now!)
On the exact day two years before the London 2012 Olympics officially begin press and media were invited to the stadium to see how work was progressing.
I went to shoot a load of material for future publicity and promotional purposes. This is a quick montage of the material I got. As you can see it was a pretty big media event.
Despite telling people you shouldn't go round shooting DSLR as a fly on the wall camera I always seem to end up doing that! All shot on a mix of 7D, EX-1, and JVC HM100 on the Steadicam Merlin.
