1. An early graphing/flowchart prototype for the Microsoft multi-touch surface developed at USC's Institute for Creative Technologies.

The prototype is used to create, manipulate, and understand node/line graphs using multi-touch (it’s actually impossible to use w/ a single touch or mouse pointer).

As seen near the end of the video, I’m beginning to look at sunburst graphs as a way to condense and manipulate nodes.

  5. After creating the sliding list widget in Flash [http://www.cyancdesign.com/2009/12/sliding-lists-tuio-flash-app-widget/], I used it to interact with a conference map. I used the Tokyo Game Show for the demo because it had a bright and colorful identity to work off of for inspiration. An app like this would be useful for any trade show/conference with many booth to keep track of and would make an engaging opportunity for people attending.

The information of the List of names and their locations on the map is contained in an XML file and can be changed without altering the flash itself.

This app is multi-user intended because of the size of the table top (50" diagonal). So more than one person can be looking at the map.
