After achieving his dream summit, an elite climber finds himself empty. Broken and untethered, he searches for a fulfillment more lasting than a faraway peak.

Shot entirely on the Canon EOS 1D X.

  2. A three day, 100 mile, mountain bike ride across Wales, from England to the coast.

Audio sounds much better with decent headphones or speakers.

My first attempt at making a little film. It's far from perfect, a lot of the clips (and hence the whole film) are too long, the difference in quality from the cameras is huge, some of the editing is a bit sloppy and the clips towards the end are a little random and not totally in keeping with the tunes (although they do reflect how the trip went).

But it was fun to make, I learnt heaps, and it makes me smile. And you get to listen to three songs by Deers, a small band from Norwich who I stumbled across in a tiny tent late at night at Latitude 2013.

p.s. It's Harry that features most in the video; there are thankfully just a couple of grainy shots of me!

Music by Deers: Sneak In, Building Blocks, MTS.

Filmed on an Olympus OM-D EM-5, Canon IXUS 950 IS, AEE SD21 Magicam.
