  3. My friend Amanda had never seen a whole Star Wars film. When I asked her if she wanted to watch the original trilogy she said that she would, but that she already knew what happens. So I took out my voice recorder and asked her to start from the top.

I then created some very basic animation in Final Cut to go along with her narration.

WINNER of the 'George Lucas Selects' award in the 2009 Star Wars Fan Movie contest.

  4. http://www.couragecampaign.org/Divorce

Ken Starr, who led the campaign to impeach President Bill Clinton, filed a legal brief last month -- on behalf of the "Yes on 8" campaign -- that would forcibly divorce 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California last year before the passage of Prop 8.

Watch "Fidelity" and sign our letter to the state Supreme Court before they hear oral arguments in the case on March 5. Tell the Supreme Court to invalidate Prop 8, reject Ken Starr's case, and let loving, committed couples marry.

371,155 people have signed this letter. Will you add your name now by clicking on the following link?:

"Fidelity" is also now at over 1 million total views currently on Vimeo and YouTube. To help this video reach as many people as possible, please tell your friends to watch it and tell their friends!

  5. Large-scale computer simulations run by Northwestern researchers show worst-case scenario projections of approximately 1,700 cases of swine flu for the entire United States four weeks from now.

Dirk Brockmann, associate professor of engineering sciences and applied mathematics at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science who leads the research group, finds that the major areas shown to have incidents in the worst-case scenario include California, Texas and Florida. Worst-case scenario means that no measures have been taken to combat the spread of disease. These numbers would, of course, be lessened by preventive measures already under way.

Under this scenario, more than 100 cases are projected for the Chicago area. The affected locations largely correspond to major transportation hubs in the country. The researchers also will be running simulations on the possible time course of the spread of swine flu in Europe.
