While on our Streetview spring break we spent the day with Piero Rivolta who, among many many things, designed Italian cars through the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Mr. Rivolta was a wonderful host and had lots of great stories to tell about his glory days as an Italian car manufacturer. We even got to tear up Sarasota in his Rivolta GT which ran in the '68 Le Mans, by the way. You can read all about Rivolta in the July 2012 issue of Automobile Magazine and check out all of our beautiful photos.
Join me on a trip with a 1969 Italian Supercar. Hear the wonderful sound of the V8 thundering along picturesque roads. The Iso 7 Litri (Chevi Big Block) was said to reach the 300km/h mark ...but it I for one wouldn´t try it.
For a better sound reproduction an Olympus PCM recorder was mounted on the back of the car.
