A device being built by Needham-based Veryst Engineering could change the way electronic items get power. Called an 'energy harvester,' it takes low-frequency repetitive motion and converts the motion to energy.
Needham Police Officer Carl Johnson said he wanted serve his country and to help people, which is in keeping with his job here in Needham. “I wanted to serve my country, which was a big thing to me. That’s probably why I like being a police officer and why I stayed in the National Guard. I really enjoy being able help people.”
