The piece questions the way individuals may be tempted to trade part of their freedom and identity in exchange of some material confort and security provided their leaders and society in general.

To create this stop motion, I photographed every day a banana rotting in a golden cage for 38 days in my studio.

The piece was part of VideoBite program in Berlin, Germany, Videoholica International Video Art Festival in Varna, Bulgaria and the 25th edition of Les Instants International Video Art Festival in Marseilles, France.
