The anarchist punk band Crass was very different from their contemporaries. The Sex Pistols and The Clash sold their souls to big record labels, whereas Crass stayed true to their anti-corporate ideals. Crass still exists today as a commune just outside of London named 'Dial House'- a safe haven for those individuals of principle who still live by the old punk slogan 'Do it yourself'.

    Director
Alexander Oey (1960) has directed a large number of documentaries, mainly for the Dutch networks VPRO and NPS, such as 'My Life as a Terrorist: The Story of Hans - Joachim Klein' (2005), 'Euro-Islam according to Tariq Ramadan' (2005),'Bijlmer the Rough Guid' (2003) and 'Jeff Wall' (1999).

This time-lapse production has been a wild and exhilarating ride, with a lot of physical work lugging my 120-130 pounds of gear around all of Manhattan. I bent (broke) some laws and made a ton of friends. Thank you all for your support and please feel free to help out a starving artist and share this video with the world.

Molotov's Alva and His Search for the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey is a compilation of ten video diaries made by Molotov Alva, who disappeared off the face of the earth in January of this year, only to re-appear subsequently in Second Life. The diaries form the basis of the documentary directed by Douglas Gayeton.

Molotov's Alva and His Search for the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey is the first MiniMovie in a series of documentaries produced specifically for online video channels, iPods and mobile phones .

The first episode of the documentary series was launched on YouTube and was immediately a huge hit. The film was YouTube’s number 1 for several days, which caught the attention of a number of big American channels. As far as is known, this is the first time that a film that premiered on YouTube is bought by a major television channel.

    Director
Douglas Gayeton wrote and directed, together with William Gibson, 'Johnny Mnemonic', the first interactive cd-rom based movie, for Sony Imagesoft. His digital animated series 'Delta State', was named best animated TV series of the year at the 2004 Annecy Film Festival. Gayeton has also created or designed online social networks for such clients as AOL, MSN, Vivendi and Napster.

  5. Keep on Steppin' is a layered mosaic narrative made up of five beautifully visualized short stories by the renowned Dutch documentary director/ photographer Marjoleine Boonstra about ordinary people who, through circumstances beyond their control, have been ripped away from their everyday lives and forced to start over from scratch.

The Man and the Lake is one of five poetic films that will be released as an iPad app and a website in August 2012.

"A research trip in Uzbekistan. From the shore I drive in a jeep into the Aral Lake. For hours I ride over the bed of the dried-up lake. The rivers that fed it have been artificially diverted for the cultivation of cotton. The region is empty. Almost all who depended on the lake for survival left long ago."
