Well this is about a family of 5 tigers deep in the jungles of “ TADOBA” in state of Maharashtra .
This short film is a salute to ‘Leela’ the panderpani tigress who was unsuccessful in raising her first two lovable 3to 4 months old cubs for the first time , this is for her success story portraying her efforts in raising not 2 but 4 cubs (1 male & 3 females)this time.
Even a bow to her mate the W – male (W letter mark on his right eyebrow) the elusive and every shy in his efforts for protecting these bold cubs by just lurking in the shadows.
In this film enjoy the love and affection of mother and cubs one early wintery morning, cubs gently nudging their mother every now and then, not giving her space to walk.
Later mother queen taking her throne and then one after another the two would be princesses resting behind her ,then third female cub pawing her mother for her place& finally the every shy male cub (like father)coming and just hopping and climbing down the throne later following the mother towards the hidden breakfast in the nallah........
Hope all of u will enjoy the siesta

Male Leopard walking head on towards us in early morning golden light @ Tadoba.
One early morning in October as we were entering the tadoba range from khathoda gate and just as we cleared the bend on the tar road we saw some moment on the far uphill of tar road. we halted our gypsy and our guide vansate sonule picked up the binocular and confirmed its a leopard. we asked him whether it was walking towards us or moving ahead ? guide said he is walking head on towards us.
we swithched off our gypsy and our cameras positioned stood still no movement and then poetry in motion....
he came came came came ......in his elegant leopard walk but bold like a tiger walking head on
awestruck i kept filming till hardly 15 feet apart from our gypsy.
he stood there like a ghost who walks in front our eyes in golden light no words to say...
sniffing and turning in confidence ..
then our ears heard a gypsy coming far from behind , the ghost also heard it turned and disappeared into the long golden grass just like a phantom without moving a blade.
hope u enjoyed the video.
