1. This riveting film brings alive the history of the struggle for women's reproductive rights in the US and the chilling facts about the current threat to those rights. Intimate interviews reveal the passion of people who moved abortion from the danger of the back alleys to a safe, legal choice.

  2. This Academy Award-nominated film features compelling first person accounts which reveal the physical, legal, and emotional consequences during the era when abortion was a criminal act. Remembrances include those of women who experienced illegal abortions, doctors who risked imprisonment and loss of their licenses for providing illegal abortions, and individuals who broke the law by helping women find safe abortions.

  3. After more than a century of back-alley tragedies, a national movement to decriminalize abortion took root. FROM DANGER to DIGNITY combines rare archival footage with present-day interviews to weave together two parallel stories: the evolution of underground networks to help women find safe abortions outside the law and the intensive efforts of activists and legislators who broke the silence and changed the laws.

  5. A quick tribute to the Godfather of Motion - Eadweard Muybridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eadweard_Muybridge)

Continuing my experiments with DuIK tools, I figured I would do a little motion test by bringing to life some of Muybridge's motion captures.

This animation was incredibly easy to generate. I simply found some of Muybridge's image sequences online and used them to pose the rigged skeleton (see my tutorial: vimeo.com/7872163). Simply pose the skeleton against the first frame, keyframe that position, move to the next frame, slide the reference image over to the next position, adjust the skeleton, and so on, until you've gotten the full motion cycle. Then it's just a matter of selecting all the key frames and stretching them out holding ALT to get the right timing. Because the character is rigged, the tweening between positions is anatomically correct. No fuss. No hassles. Just happiness.

    Thank you DuIK Tools.
