My son Jake and I went up to the Rubicon for our friend Mark's birthday. This was Jake's first time up in his own rig. It's his daily driver and it's nearly stock (mild lift and open diff's) so I drove it in and out of the trail to baby it as much as possible... This video however, captures an afternoon that Jake and I had to ourselves, so we headed out to get some experience wheeling in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
The song used is Eddie Vedder – Hard Sun.
Video shot in 720 30fps on a GoPro HD HERO2, plus some from my phone.
Thanks to the Tyrfingsson's and Dec's Amy is now officially mildly interested in dirt biking. In this vid, Amy heads out on her first trail ride on a full-size bike... By the end of the day she was shifting well, able to keep her line even when fishtailing through the muddy sections, and she did a full-on stoppy (front brake only, rear tire in the air), and she did it all without laying down the loaner CRF 230 even once.
The 5th annual Cantina for the Con is a Wrap!!! Cantina for the Con raised 33 thousand dollars!!!
This is an astonishing number and we could not have accomplished this incredible feat without support from every single one of the vendors and supporters that bought tacos, nachos, and raffle prizes.
We can't say thank you enough to everyone that participated and volunteered this year, the support, friendships and bonds made are things that remind us why it's so much fun to get involved.
