Are you interested in Christianity? Wondering what it is all about?

This is what the Bible tells us. God, who is eternal, created everything that exists. And he did it when nothing existed. He created it perfect and he created humans. Originally, there was no murder, death, lying, stealing or sin of any kind. However, God gave humans the freedom to choose to obey or disobey and they chose to disobey. It was that disobedience that brought sin and death into the world and changed paradise into the world we live in today. That first disobedience was passed on from generation to generation and so all of humanity is self-centered and sinful and therefore is condemned to hell after death.

That's the bad news.

Everyone has broken God's law at sometime. Have you ever told a lie? Taken something that didn't belong to you? Taken the Lord's name in vain? The Bible tells us that everyone has.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23

And the penalty for sinning is death.

"For the wages of sin is death" - Romans 6:23a

But the Bible doesn't stop there because there is good news.

In spite of the fact that you have broken God's law, God still loves you.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

God showed his love for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross and pay the death penalty for your sins.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

And he offers you the free gift of eternal life.

"but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 6:23b

How do you receive this free give? It's simple, just admit to God that you have sinned and broken his law, believe that Jesus died for your sins, and ask Jesus to be your Savior.

"That if you confess (say) with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10

There are no coincidences. If you have read down this far it is because God brought you to this page. God is drawing you to himself. The Bible tells us

"there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God." - Romans 3:11

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day" - John 6:44

You can receive Christ right here, right now. You can do this with a simple prayer. Say it in your own words just like your were talking to someone sitting next to you. Say something like

"God I know I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sins. I believe that Jesus died for me and I want Jesus to be my Savior."

If you do this then get a Bible and start reading it to learn more about God's love for you.
