Breast cancer, the disease known predominantly as women’s disease is also affecting more and more men. Each year over three hundred and fifty men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. And the numbers are on rise.

Over two third of the UK adults admitted to have debt problems in a study by The Co-operative Bank. Often those in debt fail to recognize the problem until they have accumulated more than one thousand pounds in overdrafts, credit cards and loans. Pay day shops designed to tide consumers over until their next pay check arrives are becoming increasingly popular. However some argue that they engage people in an endless cycle of debt

Last government figures show that the number of homeless in the UK rose by 43%. It´s reported that nearly half of homeless people have squatted at some time. However, the House of Lords is discussing a new bill which will criminalize residential squatting.
On February the 14th Bahraini campaigners living in London commemorated the first year anniversary since the uprising. Demonstrators claim that nothing has changed from last year and ask for international support.
